Networks are a necessity in environments where data and resource sharing is essential. When your home and/or office PCs are networked (connected together), you can share files, applications, and hardware (like printers and scanners). This is a very useful and efficient solution. For example, connecting PCs from home to the office, or from an office to one or more office(s) can save the time and costs of traveling to other locations. More importantly the staff from all locations on the network can access files, applications, and/or hardware throughout the network.
